Note: Term fees are structured based on the term as a whole, not the number of classes offered.
Payment Information
- Registration fees require immediate payment at the end of the registration process and must be paid via credit card. This is because the fees go directly to the CAWA for affiliation and insurance purposes.
- A merchant processing fee applies to credit card payments. This fee is not charged by the Club but is set by the payment system provider.
- We understand that merchant fees can add up, and to help reduce costs for families, we offer a bank deposit payment option for term fees. This allows members to avoid additional card processing charges on ongoing class fees.
Fees Explained
Calisthenics Association of WA (CAWA) Affiliation Fee (annual per participant)
- The price is set by the CAWA to cover insurance and association costs. If a Tinie or non-competing participant performs a Solo/Duo, the Affiliation fee will be adjusted to the competing fee of $75.
- CAWA affiliation fee is an annual payment providing CAWA membership and insurance for performers.
- This fee is payable during the registration.
- For members registered later in the year (e.g., Term 4), a prorated fee applies*.
*CAWA Affiliation Fee in Term 4 (New members)
- If you join in Term 4, you pay a pro-rated affiliation fee to cover membership and insurance for the remaining months of the year.
- This means if you joined in Term 4, you’re only paying for the months remaining in the current year, and registration in Term 1 is required to continue for the new year.
Volunteer Levy (annual per family)
- Our club is a not-for-profit organisation and relies on members to volunteer.
- Each family is charged a Volunteer Levy at the start of the year.
- This fee is charged once per family. If multiple members from the same family pay the levy, the additional amounts will be refunded in their Term 1 fee.
- This fee will be refunded in Term 4 if a minimum of 3 hours of volunteering for the club is completed.
- Volunteer hours must be endorsed by a Team Manager or Committee member and submitted to the Club Treasurer by the end of Term 3.
- There are a number of volunteer opportunities at various times throughout the year and for more information, please visit the Volunteering page.
Membership Fee (annual per participant)
- Covers class incidentals, such as prizes or awards, hair and make up supplies for competitions, storage facilities, props, Club based items such as stereos, mats, marking tape, first aid items.
Term Fee
- Covers coaching fees, training hall hire, costume hire (except Fancy item), competition entry fees, stage practice (where applicable), family club annual events, and adminstration costs.
- There is no additional cost for extra trainings scheduled by coaches to prepare for competitions.
- Hired costumes remain the property of Riverton Calisthenics Club, which is used at competitions and concerts.
- Each performer pays for their Fancy costume in full and it is theirs to keep.
Term Fee Structure
- Registration fee: At registration, you pay the Registration Fee, which includes the Annual RCC Membership, Volunteer Levy, and CAWA Affiliation Fee.
- Term 1: Includes the Term 1 fee and a portion of costume hire fee.
- Term 2: Includes the Term 2 fee and a portion of costume hire fee.
- Term 3: Includes the Term 3 fee and a portion of costume hire fee. This term may also include additional costs for a fancy costume, if required. If the final costume cost exceeds the initial estimate, members may be asked to pay the difference.
- Term 4: Includes the Term 4 fee. If you have volunteered, the Volunteer Levy will be refunded on your Term 4 invoice.
📌 Note: The costume hire fee is spread evenly across Terms 1, 2, and 3 to help manage costs.
Invoices

- Payments are due within the first two weeks (14 days) of the invoices being issued.
- Performers must be financially up to date to compete in any CAWA competition.
- Performers cannot compete in competitions (e.g. solo, duo), attend Club events, or participate in the Calisthenic Skills Program unless all invoice payments are up to date.
