Fees Explained
Calisthenics Association of WA (CAWA) Affiliation Fee (annual per participant)
- CAWA affiliation fee is an annual payment providing CAWA membership and insurance for performers.
- This fee is payable each year and is invoiced with the Term 1 fee or the first term the performer is enrolled.
- For performers enrolled later in the year (e.g., Term 4), a prorated fee applies.
Volunteer Levy (annual per family)
- Our club is a not-for-profit organisation and relies on members to volunteer.
- Each family is charged a Volunteer Levy at the start of the year.
- This fee will be refunded in Term 4 if a minimum of 3 hours of volunteering for the club is completed.
- Volunteer hours must be endorsed by a Team Manager or Committee member and submitted to the Club Treasurer by the end of Term 3.
- There are a number of volunteer opportunities at various times throughout the year and for more information, please visit the Volunteering page.
Membership Fee (annual per participant)
- Covers class incidentals, such as prizes or awards, hair and make up supplies for competitions, storage facilities, props, Club based items such as stereos, mats, marking tape, first aid items.
Term Fee
- Covers coaching fees, training hall hire, costume hire (except Fancy item), competition entry fees, stage practice (where applicable), family club annual events, and adminstration costs.
- There is no additional cost for extra trainings scheduled by coaches to prepare for Competitions.
- Hired costumes remain the property of Riverton Calisthenics Club, which is used at Competitions and Concerts.
- Each performer pays for their Fancy costume in full and it is theirs to keep.
Term Fee Structure
- Term 1: You will receive two invoices. The first includes the CAWA Affiliation Fee, Volunteer Levy, and Membership Fee. The second is for the Term 1 (training class) fee.
- Term 2: Includes the Term 2 Fee.
- Term 3: Includes the Term 3 Fee plus any extra costs for a fancy costume, if needed. If the final cost exceeds the estimate in the term fee, members may be asked to pay the difference.
- Term 4: Includes the Term 4 Fee. A bulk Term 4 fee will be sent without the Volunteer Levy refund. If you have volunteered, please wait for the amended invoice before making any payments.
Invoices
- Invoices are emailed to performers or parents/guardians each term.
- Payments are due within the first two weeks (14 days) of the invoices being issued.
- Performers must be financially up to date to compete in any CAWA competition.
- Performers cannot compete in competitions, attend Club events, or participate in the Calisthenic Skills Program unless all invoice payments are up to date.
Refunds
- Please note that all fees, including the CAWA affiliation fee, membership fee, term fee, costume deposit, or any other associated costs, are non-refundable if you choose to withdraw.
- There are no refunds for missed classes.
- If we cancel a class, we will make every effort to provide a make-up class during the year.
Payment plans
- You can set up a payment plan, if agreed to and authorised by our Treasurer.
- If you have any questions or want to make payment arrangements, email the Treasurer.
- If you do not make arrangements for payment, you are required to pay invoices in full by the due date.
