KidSport

Eligible children in Western Australia can receive up to $500 per financial year to help cover the costs of joining any approved KidSport club. Riverton Calisthenics Club is a proud registered KidSport club, which means eligible families can apply for financial assistance to cover their child’s club fees.

KidSport supports children by covering club fees, with funds sent directly from local government to registered clubs like ours. Children aged 5 to 18 years who meet the eligibility criteria can apply.

To be eligible for KidSport applicants must be:

  1. aged 5 to 18 years
  2. residing in Western Australia
  3. named on a valid Services Australia Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card (issued by Services Australia)
  4. registering with a KidSport Club.

If your child will be 5 for the majority of the playing season, then the Kidsport application will still be considered. If your child is 18 at the time of application, they will still be eligible for KidSport.

Using your KidSport voucher

  • Vouchers represent a form of payment - once you have given a club your voucher code they will be able to claim the voucher and receive payment.
  • Vouchers can be used as payment for registration, membership or participation fees.
  • KidSport vouchers can be used for uniform and equipment costs if the KidSport Club has opted in to accept vouchers for these items and they are purchased directly from the KidSport Club named on the voucher.
  • Vouchers are valid for 90 days.
  • Vouchers can only be redeemed at a KidSport Club.
  • Rebates or reimbursements will not be paid by DLGSC to any parent or guardian.
